The Boston Celtics are celebrating their NBA-record 18th championship on Friday with a victory parade through the city. It was another opportunity for them to throw some shade at the critics who have doubted them throughout the season.
Finals MVP Jaylen Brown decided to use the opportunity to troll ESPN's Stephen A. Smith with a T-shirt that simply said "state your source."

The reference here goes back to beef that Brown had with Smith when the latter cited an anonymous NBA source that said Brown was not marketable because nobody liked him due to his ego.
Brown's response was simply him asking Smith to state his source.

The Celtics have been enjoying their victory lap in the aftermath of their five-game series win over the Dallas Mavericks. Nobody seems to be enjoying it more than Brown and Jayson Tatum, the team's two biggest stars.
Despite their regular-season success over the years, there were still doubts about their ability to win a championship, even after they finished this campaign with the best regular-season record in the NBA.
They showed everybody they could do it. Now that they have their championship rings, nobody can ever take them away. They are champions. They walked the walk. Now they are talking the talk.
