Cameron Young had a day for the record books on Saturday at the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship.
The world's No. 23 golfer shot a 59, becoming the 13th player in PGA Tour history to finish a round with a sub-60.

ESPN's Adam Schefter shared a photo of Young's remarkable scorecard, which included three birdies and an eagle in his first four holes, plus another four birdies and an eagle over the final 14.

The PGA Tour shared numbers behind his performance, including hitting 15 of 18 greens in regulation and a perfect 3-for-3 when scrambling, or recording par on holes with fewer than two putt attempts.

With his 11-under 59, Young moved into a tie with Tom Kim (-13), who began Saturday at par through three holes, for first at the Travelers.
He's making his second career appearance at the event. In 2023, he shot five-under-par and finished tied for 60th. Keegan Bradley (-23) won the tournament, which has a history of being friendly to professional golfers.
On Aug. 7, 2016, Jim Furyk shot a 58 at the Travelers Championship, the lowest round in PGA Tour history.
