Jaylen Brown offering reward after losing valuable item at championship parade

Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown is asking for fans' help after losing a prized possession.

In an Instagram story, Brown shared that he couldn't find his personal ring after the Celtics' championship parade on Friday.

"Big reward for whoever finds this ring," Brown wrote. "Lost it at the parade. If you find it [let me know], please."

The ring appears to have "7uice," the logo for Brown's sportswear brand, in the middle and is surrounded by diamonds.

In July 2023, the three-time All-Star signed a five-year, $303.7M supermax extension, which kicks in this upcoming season. Perhaps he would be willing to give some cash to the person who finds his jewelry. If it doesn't turn up, he can likely buy a replacement.

While Brown lost his personal ring, he can take solace in soon receiving another. According to MassLive.com's Lauren Campbell, the Celtics will likely obtain their championship bling at TD Garden before the 2024-25 season starts.

Brown helped the Celtics capture their 18th banner by defeating the Dallas Mavericks in five games. He averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, five assists and a team-high 1.6 steals, winning Finals MVP.

Brown also slowed down Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic. Citing NBA.com's tracking data, Boston.com's Conor Roche noted Doncic shot 9-of-22 from the field when Brown defended him.

Brown and the Celtics should have an opportunity to earn more hardware next season and become the first team to repeat as champions since the 2017-18 Golden State Warriors. As of Sunday, FanDuel gives them the best odds (+300) to win the finals, ahead of the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves.
