Watch: A’ja Wilson and Becky Hammon praise Angel Reese

With the Sky and Aces scheduled to play on Thursday, A’ja Wilson was asked about Reese and had only positive things to say. “It’s pretty cool to kinda see her flourish in that situation and in life,” Wilson said.

Wilson also mentioned Reese’s ability to rebound the ball, stating that it would be her most important skill that transfers since she has a knack for it. Currently A’ja Wilson leads the league in rebounding, averaging 11.6 rebounds per game and tied her career high of 16 rebounds last game against the Sun. Reese is right behind A’ja in second place, averaging 11.1 rebounds per game. She is presently on an eight-game double-double streak, including a career-high 18 rebounds against the Dallas Wings on June 20th.

Becky Hammon praised Angel Reese before the Aces game against the Sky. “Her shooting and finishing has improved drastically she has put in a lot of work,” Hammon said.
