It appeared as if England and the Netherlands were headed for extra time at the end of what felt like a stalemate of a second half Wednesday afternoon.
But striker Ollie Watkins snuck a ball past Dutch goaltender Bart Verbruggen in the 90th minute to send England to its second-consecutive Euro Tournament final.

The Aston Villa star, deservingly named man-of-the-match, came on as a substitute in the 81st minute of the semifinal.
He replaced striker Harry Kane who scored England's equalizer in the first half after a controversial penalty call.
Fans in England erupted upon seeing Watkins' stoppage-time strike reach the back of the net.

England's dramatic, come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Dutch marks the first time it has ever qualified for two Euro Tournament finals back-to-back.
The Three Lions will now face Spain on Sunday in an attempt to avenge their 2021 loss to Italy in the previous Euro final and win their first major tournament since the 1966 World Cup. Is it finally coming home?
