Watch: Shohei Ohtani crushes monster three-run home run in All-Star Game

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani opened the scoring in the 2024 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night by absolutely crushing a 400-foot, three-run home run deep into the Texas night in the top of the third inning.

Have a look at it here.

Boston's Tanner Houck made the mistake of leaving a 94 mph splitter out over the fat part of the plate and Ohtani made him pay.

The best part about that is Ohtani hit it just as the Fox broadcast was asking New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge his thoughts on Ohtani. Just as Judge started to sing his praises, Ohtani crushed his home run.

Ohtani is the best left-handed power hitter in baseball and just recently hit the 200th home run of his career.

This is his first ever All-Star home run and the first Dodger to homer in the game since Mike Piazza during the 1996 game.

After leading the American League with 44 home runs a year ago, Ohtani enters the All-Star break this season leading the National League with 29 of them. He also leads the National League in slugging percentage (.635) and OPS (1.036).
