The format this year is the WNBA All-Stars vs Team USA. The last time they did this was in 2021, and it really brought out a much slower pace and lower scoring game.
The final was 93-85, which is high-scoring for a regular season WNBA game. But it's somewhat similar to other sports where you'll see defense isn't always the top priority. But it seems like in this game, it will be a little bit more prioritized.
It wasn't just the non-existent defense, run and gun, and chucking up 3s. There's also the addition of the 4-point shot this year, which always draws interest, then doesn't. That's somewhat of an intriguing factor, especially if one team is trying to make a comeback.
I still like the under for this game. I think it should be somewhere in the 180s range as opposed to the mid-190s.

I don't think this is a spot where I'll be looking to bet Angel Reese over in rebounds. It doesn't scream the type of game where they pound it down low in the post and Angel gets a bunch of offensive rebounds. That's not really the vibe of the All-Star Game.
If we do get unders, I'll be targeting players who might not get many minutes or who might not have good matchups.
Both of the rookie unders are bets I would go for. Caitlin Clark has been playing out of her mind lately, but she's doing it against bad teams. She's improving against good teams, but the scoring still isn't there against top competition.
The ball isn't going to be in her hands. It's not gong to be the insane usage she has with the Indiana Fever. So I would probably look at unders for the two rookies in this game.
