It's safe to say Victor Wembanyama is already comfortable at his first Olympic Games.
The No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, Wembanyama is playing in his first Olympics for the host nation, France.
During warmups ahead of its game against Brazil, Wembanyama casually made a half-court three on a runner.
Here's the video, per San Antonio Express-News' Mike Finger.

He looked just as at ease during the game, particularly on this absurd first-quarter sequence when he gathered two offensive rebounds and made a field goal while being fouled.

Despite Wembanyama's effortless start, France found itself in an early hole against Brazil. It trailed by as many as 12, 27-15, but Wembanyama got hot to cut the lead to one, 27-26, midway through the second.
The French men's national team features several NBA pros, including Clippers forward Nicolas Batum, Pistons guard Evan Fournier, Wizards guard Bilal Coulibaly and Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert, but Wembanyama is the undoubted star of the team. At time of publication, he leads the squad with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting.
Per CBS Sports, France (+1500) entered the Olympics tied with Serbia for the third-best odds to win gold in Paris.
Wembanyama was named the NBA Rookie of the Year and First-Team All-Defense in 2023-24 after averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and a league-high 3.6 blocks per game in only 29.7 minutes per game.
At 7-foot-4 and with his skillset, Wembanyama is already one of the most unguardable players in the world. We should have known the Olympic stage wouldn't have been too big for him.
