Watch: Brad Keselowski suffers blown tire from second in AdventHealth 400

A great run for 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski in Sunday's AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway has come to an unfortunate end.

Keselowski, who came into Sunday's race 32nd in the Cup Series points standings, was in desperate need of a good run at Kansas. Early in Stage 3, it looked like a great result was the cards for the No. 6 team, as Keselowski got around Kyle Larson for second and began to close on race leader Chase Elliott.

After getting within a second of Elliott, Keselowski suffered a right-rear tire failure going into turn 1 on Lap 195, taking him out of contention for the win.

Tire failures were a major storyline going into Sunday's race after multiple drivers, including Keselowski, suffered flat tires in Saturday's practice session. William Byron also encountered a flat tire while running inside the top-five in Stage 1 during Sunday's race.

Keselowski is not officially out of the race, but the great finish the veteran driver is so in need of won't come in the Heartland.
