Even with starters Cade Cunningham (right wrist), Tobias Harris (left hip) and Jalen Duren (right ankle) out of action, the Detroit Pistons picked up their third straight win with Wednesday's 108-93 victory over the Chicago Bulls.
The Pistons (28-9) trailed by one entering the fourth quarter and by as many as seven in the game before a huge fourth quarter turned things around.
Detroit outscored Chicago, 32-16, and benefited from forward Isaiah Stewart's career-high 31 points (14-of-17 FG) to outlast the Bulls and overcome the absence of its three starters.
Stewart set a new career-high on this slam midway through the fourth quarter and extended Detroit's lead to 92-85.

Before his 31-point outburst on Wednesday, Stewart had only scored 20 points on two other occasions this season, so his performance was definitely a welcome sight with the injuries Detroit is dealing with in its starting lineup.
Guard Daniss Jenkins experienced a career night of his own with 15 assists and posted an impressive plus-minus of 20 when he was on the floor, which speaks to how impactful his 28 minutes of action were off the bench.
As a team, Detroit shot 49% from the floor and 12-of-33 (36%) from deep, improving its home record to 15-3 and maintaining a four-game lead over the New York Knicks (24-13) for the best record in the Eastern Conference as the season nears its midway point.
Getting their three starters healthy is certainly the priority and makes this Pistons team extremely dangerous when they are all on the floor together. However, even if the win was against a 17-20 Bulls team that has lost three in a row and five of its last seven, Stewart and Jenkins proved that other players are capable of stepping up for Detroit and putting together memorable performances.
