Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was taken off the field Monday after a scary fall sent him into concussion protocol during his team’s Wild Card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Texans quarterback CJ Stroud tried to hit Collins on a short pass middle late in the third quarter. With Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. draped all over Collins, the Texans wideout crashed helmet-first onto the grass at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa. Collins was in the fencing position for a few moments as he lay on the ground.

Collins struggled to get himself into the medical tent and was eventually carted off the field. He was evaluated for a concussion and later ruled out of the game.

Collins left the contest with three catches for 21 yards.
