Carson Hocevar seems to be ruffling the feathers of the NASCAR Cup Series field on a regular basis.
During an overtime restart in Sunday's Autotrader 400 at Atlanta, Hocevar, who was on the outside lane in row 2, tried to shoot the middle between race leader Bubba Wallace and Christopher Bell. But the gap Hocevar attempted to go for was not quite one car wide, which resulted in contact and Bell shooting up into the outside wall.
Bell held his tongue after the race, but his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Denny Hamlin, spoke candidly about Hocevar's actions on Monday's episode of "Actions Detrimental."
"As a competitor, it's going to come back around," Hamlin said of Hocevar's actions. "He'll be in a position where he thinks he's about to win, and then someone will decide that he's not going to, and that's going to suck."

"You're just never going to get anyone to give you a break. He's certainly exciting to watch if you're a race fan. Those are not the moves that you have to make to win the race nowadays. I think he's missing a little bit of the craftsmanship of winning these races beyond just having a fast car."
Hocevar's fourth-place finish on Sunday bumped him up to fourth in the Cup Series standings through two races.
