The Indiana Fever’s roster for the upcoming season is shaping up. On Saturday, the team officially announced its 16-woman roster for training camp, which starts on Sunday.
The Fever’s front office did a commendable job in keeping their core intact ahead of the 2026 season. Caitlin Clark enters her third WNBA season with high hopes alongside Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston. Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull are staying in Indiana, while the Fever also brought in a number of key additions in free agency and through the draft.
More than a few Indiana supporters, however, believe that the team should make room for one more player — one who had the privilege of playing alongside Clark during her time with the Iowa Hawkeyes in college.
Clark spent four years with the Hawkeyes before taking her talents to the WNBA. She had an iconic career in Iowa, where she had the chance to play alongside teammates who would eventually become her friends. One of them is 6-foot-2 forward Hannah Stuelke.
Stuelke played alongside Clark in Iowa for two seasons. She joined the Hawkeyes in 2022, which was Clark’s junior year. Stuelke was part of Iowa’s back-to-back runs to the national championship game.
In her senior year last season, Stuelke averaged 13.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.5 minutes per contest. Unfortunately, she went undrafted in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
A good number of Fever fans now believe that the front office should sign Stuelke to reunite her with Clark.

“@indianafever
Just saying
” a comment on Instagram read.
“I agree she is tough. She play Angel Reese tough in the championship. LSU players spoke highly of her hustle,” another said.
“Agree. [Aliyah Boston] needs a back up and she’s a workhorse,” declared a fan.
“Yessss Hanna Stuelke,” a reaction read.
“They need another big girl putting pressure on,” said another.
“Yeah they should,” agreed a fan.
To be fair, there are also many supporters who do not agree with the prospect of signing Stuelke. Some have argued that she lacks the talent to be in the WNBA, while others believe she might be better suited to play elsewhere.
Either way, the Fever will need to make their decision soon. The coaching staff will have to cut down their final roster to 12 players before they kick off their season on May 9 against the Dallas Wings.
