Caitlin Clark has gotten off to a fast start this season. She continues to prove that she has fully recovered from her ankle, quad and groin injuries in 2025. The two-time All-Star averages a career-high 22.5 points, along with 4.3 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
However, the Indiana Fever only have a 4-3 record to show for it. Clark consistently gets help from Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, but she needs the rest of the roster to step up, particularly the bench. The good news for the superstar guard and the team is that they have a lot of games left.
Clark remains one of the best players in the WNBA and continues to endear herself to fans with her big performances. She has taken the league by storm since her arrival as the No. 1 pick in 2024.
Excel Basketball honored Clark with an Instagram post on Friday. It highlighted her achievement of being the fastest player in league history to reach 1,000 points and 500 assists. She reposted it on her Instagram story without any words.

Clark reached the milestone after she played her 59th career game on Thursday against the Golden State Valkyries. WNBA legend Sue Bird previously held the record, set over 82 games.
While the feat is impressive, Clark likely prefers to see the Fever win more games. They entered the season as one of the title favorites but started the campaign slow.
Indiana will be back in action on Saturday to face the Portland Fire on the road before returning home for a big matchup on June 4 versus Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream.
Clark and Co. will then play three of their next four games on the road. Stringing wins together will be crucial as the schedule gets tougher for them as the season progresses.
