Heat legend rips 'not cool' Tyler Herro over Bam Adebayo comments

Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo were sidekicks with the Miami Heat for seven seasons.

They seemed to be not only teammates but also close friends, but things change in this line of business. Herro reportedly questioned Adebayo's big contract and play with a Heat fan via DM. Herro was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, the exchange became public and Adebayo didn't care for it.

That's why, days after Adebayo reportedly punched Herro in the face, Heat legend Tim Hardaway Sr. took his side, calling out Herro for not being a true friend.

Tim Hardaway Sr. calls out Tyler Herro

“He was never always-in with Bam. That’s telling me that you’re not a friend. That’s telling me that... you wasn’t Heat, all the way Heat. You was always outside of Heat Culture. And for Bam to be your guy and you say that about him, that’s not cool,” Hardaway said on “The Jim Rome Show.”

Culture is everything to current and former Heat players, and the fact that Herro went behind his friend and former teammate's back to question his contributions and salary clearly ruffled some feathers.

Adebayo had nothing but support for Herro earlier in their careers, and Hardaway thinks Herro did wrong with the way he handled this whole situation.

“Bam, when he saw him, he wanted to... tell him like, 'That was disappointing to me for you to say some stuff like that.' And some people handle it in different ways. Bam handled it in a way that he thought was best for him. He let it be known that, ‘Hey, Tyler, that wasn’t cool that you said that about me. Because I’m your guy, and I’ve been there with you through thick and thin, and I will fight for you,’” Hardaway added.

At the end of the day, plenty may have transpired behind closed doors, and outsiders will never truly know what happened between the two. That said, this definitely isn't a good look for either party.
