RCR development driver Carson Brown making NASCAR O'Reilly Series debut at Iowa

Eighteen-year-old Carson Brown, a Richard Childress Racing development driver, will make his NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series debut Saturday at Iowa Speedway. 

Brown will drive the No. 32 Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing in the HyVee Perks 250 at Iowa (5 p.m. ET, the CW, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). The New London, N.C., native was signed by RCR as a development driver in November 2025 and, according to Fox Sports' Bob Pockrass, is a "likely driver" for one of RCR's two full-time NOAPS cars in 2027. 

Carson Brown could fill big shoes at RCR

RCR NOAPS driver Jesse Love is moving up to the Cup Series with the Wood Brothers in 2027, while Austin Hill is expected to stay with RCR and be the full-time driver of its second Cup car that he's driven this year since the death of Kyle Busch on May 21. 

"I’ve been fortunate to race with great teams, managed by incredibly smart people who have mentored me and prepared me for this moment," Brown said in a team release. "The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series is a big step, but it’s the right step and I’m definitely ready for it."

Brown has made six ARCA Menards Series starts this season, picking up his first career win at Phoenix. He's finished top five in all six races, putting together an average finish of 2.5 and leading a total of 247 laps.
