Ryan Blaney wins pole for Iowa Corn 350

Ryan Blaney scored his third pole of 2026 and the 15th of his NASCAR Cup Series wearing a Kyle Busch tribute helmet Saturday at Iowa Speedway.

After a poor first qualifying lap, Blaney's second lap of 23.474 seconds/134.191 miles per hour was good enough to put him at the top of the board.

The 2024 Iowa winner will lead the Cup Series field to the green flag at Iowa on Sunday afternoon alongside defending Cup Series champion Kyle Larson, who is looking for his first win of the season.

Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Tyler Reddick rounded out the top five, with Ty Gibbs, Austin Dillon, Connor Zilisch, Ross Chastain and Erik Jones, who was fastest in practice, completing the top 10.

Keselowski posted a good first lap but crashed going into turn 1 on his second lap, which will likely necessitate a backup car for the No. 6 team.

Notable Iowa qualifying results

Other notable qualifying efforts include Austin Cindric in 12th, Carson Hocevar in 18th, defending Iowa winner William Byron in 19th, Christopher Bell in 22nd and Denny Hamlin in 29th. Cole Custer laid down the slowest lap of the session at 24.004 seconds/131.228 miles per hour.

Sunday's Iowa Corn 350 will go green shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on USA Network, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
