What the NASCAR O'Reilly Series Chase bubble looks like after Iowa

After Carson Kvapil's win Saturday at Iowa Speedway, there is only one race left in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series regular season. 

Here's what the Chase grid looks like after 23 races.

A 13th-place finish at Iowa on Saturday for Retzlaff is a solid result and what he needs to do at Daytona to hang onto his Chase berth. If he can avoid 'The Big One', he should have enough of a gap to hold on to his postseason spot. 

10. Sam Mayer (+19)

Saturday was a big missed opportunity for Mayer, who won at Iowa in 2024 and 2025 but only finished 21st on Saturday. His season has been topsy-turvy, and he needs a decent run at Daytona if he wants to fight for a championship. 

11. William Sawalich (+1)

Sawalich gained eight points to the cut line on Saturday with a third-place run. He's the first of three Joe Gibbs Racing drivers fighting tooth and nail for a Chase spot. 

12. Brent Crews (+1)

A late-race incident Saturday at Iowa took Crews from a potential top five to a 16th-place finish that has him squarely on the cut line going into Daytona. The 18-year-old won't be getting much sleep over the next 20 days. 

13. Taylor Gray (-1)

Despite a solid seventh-place run on Saturday, Gray lost eight points to the cut line and now needs a good day at Daytona to squeak into the Chase. The battle between he, Sawalich and Crews for the final Chase spot should be thrilling. 

14. Rajah Caruth (-15)

Caruth's runner-up finish at Iowa on Saturday keeps him in the Chase fight going into Daytona. He gained five points on the cut line and has the chance to have a career-defining night at Daytona. 

15. Ryan Sieg (Eliminated)

Sieg finished 33rd on Saturday and was eliminated from Chase contention after a late crash took him from a potential top five to the back of the pack. It's an unfortunate end to a season for the veteran driver from Tucker, Ga., who still has 10 chances left this season to score his first career win. 

16. Anthony Alfredo (Eliminated)

Alfredo scored a decent 19th-place finish on Saturday and has come on strong over the second half of the regular season.
