Caitlin Clark Gives High Praise to Paige Bueckers

Bueckers is the Wings’ leading scorer this season. She’s currently averaging 20.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists.

Unfortunately, Dallas has lost seven of their last 10 games. They are still above .500 with a record of 20-15. The Wings can still make a push with only nine games remaining in the regular season.

Despite their struggles, Bueckers has been their undisputed leader. She has become their consistent scoring option since joining the squad last season.

Clark praised the Dallas star after their blow-for-blow battle.

“Obviously she’s an incredible player,” the Fever star said. “(It) makes it really hard on us defensively. We tried to throw a lot of different things at her.”

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year also pointed out Bueckers’ skill and knowledge of the game.

“Paige is a tremendous player,” Clark mentioned. “She takes what the defense gives her. She doesn’t force anything. She’s smooth. She finds the open teammate. She’s just a really tough guard.”

The Fever will face the Atlanta Dream on Sunday for their next game. Meanwhile, the Wings will travel to the Chase Center to face the Golden State Valkyries on Monday.
