Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong reaches 30-30 club with walk-off HR

The Chicago Cubs have a bona fide superstar on their roster in the form of center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong.

Crow-Armstrong is having an MVP-caliber season, and he further cemented himself as a true threat to win the award with a stellar performance on Monday against the Chicago White Sox.

Four hits, two home runs, game-winning home run

Crow-Armstrong led off the bottom of the first inning Monday with his 29th home run of the season, moving him to just one homer shy of joining the 30-30 club for a second consecutive season.

Throughout the game, Crow-Armstrong added a single, double and stolen base. That all led to Chicago's star stepping to the plate to lead off the bottom of the tenth inning in a 5-5 game.

On the fourth pitch of the at-bat, PCA launched a two-run, walk-off home run to secure a 7-5 victory for the Cubs. 

It was his 30th home run of the season and cemented him as just the second player in franchise history to collect two seasons with 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases and the first to do it in consecutive seasons.
