A year after a season-ending Achilles tear cost him most of his brief tenure with the Los Angeles Chargers, Najee Harris is still on the hunt for his next NFL team.
And even though he spent time visiting the New York Giants on Monday, the former 2021 first-round pick with four 1,000 plus-yard seasons under his belt remains unsigned.
So with Harris still available and several teams in need of help on the ground, where are some possible destinations for the former Pro Bowler?
The Giants have to be mentioned based on the most recent news. New York's interest also comes after depth piece Dante Miller left Saturday's practice with an injury.
Cam Skattebo, 24, who put his skills on display by averaging 4.1 yards per touch in eight games as a rookie, may be entrenched as the Giants' top back, but he's recovering from a leg injury of his own. Put it all together and it's easy to understand why the Giants may want some extra security in Harris, especially feeling as if their rushing attack is what will be the best recipe to win right away under new head coach John Harbaugh.

As a way for Harris to stay closer to home on the West Coast, the Raiders could be an option. Las Vegas met with Harris back in March and remains in desperate need of offensive weapons to give to Kirk Cousins and as they build towards a future whenever Fernando Mendoza takes over under center.
Coming off a season in which Las Vegas ranked dead last in rushing, Harris would be able to earn as many carries as possible and be able to be the focus of the offense.
With Chuba Hubbard currently week-to-week with a hamstring injury, the Panthers may look to add a veteran back to their room.
And with Harris left as the best running back on the open market, Carolina, hoping to take another step forward coming off winning the NFC South, granted at 8-9, in 2026, would be wise to place a call to a low-risk, high-reward player.
Facing pressure to get back in the playoffs with a healthy Joe Burrow, the Bengals may be willing to go all in even more by signing Harris.
As of right now, Cincinnati is planning to employ a combination of Samaje Perine and Chase Brown, but Harris could be a welcome complement nonetheless. Bringing in Harris would be a way to needle the rival Pittsburgh Steelers and an attractive path to revenge as well.
