Caitlin Clark sets career high in another monster game for Fever

Caitlin Clark had another monster game for the Indiana Fever on Sunday night, setting a career high with eight made 3-point shots in a convincing 113-90 win over the Chicago Sky.

She finished the game with 37 total points and was 8-of-12 from 3-point range, while also adding to another record she already owns in the league.

Along with the 37 points and eight 3-pointers, Clark also recorded 10 assists in the game, giving her yet another 30-point, 10-assist game.

It is already the fifth time in her young WNBA career that she has finished a game with at least 30 points and 10 assists.

What makes that number so mind-blowing, aside from the fact that she has done it in just 88 career games over less than three full seasons in the league, is that there have only been four other such games in the entire history of the WNBA.

Clark has always been a dynamic offensive player, especially from the outside, but she is really starting to take her game to an entirely new level this season.

She entered Sunday's game as the third-leading scorer in the WNBA (averaging 21.7 points per game) while also being second in assists (8.2 assists per game).

While so much of her game revolves around her shooting ability, it's almost underrated what a ball distributor she is and how she can control the tempo and pace for the rest of her team. Even as a rookie two years ago, she led the WNBA with 8.4 assists per game and was averaging even more a year ago (8.8) until injuries limited her to just 13 games.

Indiana's win on Sunday caps off what was a grueling five-game road trip that had it crisscrossing the country, and now has the Fever with a 25-16 record. They now get a few days off before hosting the Connecticut Sun on Friday.
