Caitlin Clark and Team USA dominated Czechia on Monday, winning 105-64. All 12 players scored to help the team finish the group phase with a perfect 3-0 record. The Indiana Fever star guard bounced from Sunday’s disappointing performance against Italy. She finished with nine points, including one three-pointer, along with seven assists in 21:54 minutes of playing time. Jackie Young clapped after she made it, and cameras captured her hilarious reaction to Clark’s shot from deep.
Breanna Stewart led the way for Team USA with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting, with seven rebounds and six assists. Angel Reese backed her with 13 points, while Napheesa Collier and Young scored 12 apiece. Paige Bueckers and Sonia Citron were the other Americans who scored in double digits, adding 10 each.
Clark’s triple came in the fourth quarter with USA already leading 99-58. The camera panned to Young clapping and told Kahleah Copper to do the same. The clip was posted on X and has since gone viral with more than 140,000 views.

Clark recorded just one point on 0-of-6 shooting, including 0-of-2 from deep on Sunday. It was the first game she failed to make a field goal after registering at least one throughout her iconic collegiate and WNBA career. She also committed two turnovers.
Team USA will have two days off before they return to action on Thursday. They will face the winner of the Hungary-Japan qualification game in the quarterfinals. The other bracket has Spain waiting in the wings, and its opponent will either be Italy or Australia. Clark and Co. are seeking to win their fifth straight world championship and are the heavy favorites to win this year’s tournament.
