Steelers' Aaron Rodgers has opportunity to return to Super Bowl

There's a lot of buzz and talk about Aaron Rodgers being back with the Pittsburgh Steelers for one more season. This one marks the end of his NFL career.

Whenever a four-time MVP retires, it's a huge deal, so a lot of eyes will be watching Rodgers and how this season with the Steelers plays out. He'll be there alongside his Super Bowl-winning coach, Mike McCarthy, of course, which makes his storyline even more interesting.

But it's not going to be a one-man show. Rodgers is really sitting on a goldmine of an opportunity with the Steelers, one NFL analyst says.

Aaron Rodgers could have his best group of receivers since Green Bay

On Wednesday, Jeff Howe of The Athletic released a feature giving inside intel on every NFL team going into the new season. For the Steelers, he makes the bold claim that Rodgers has the best group of players around him since he did during his best days in Green Bay.

"Quarterback Aaron Rodgers could conceivably have his best group of receivers in his post-Packers era if Roman Wilson and rookie Germie Bernard can get off to a fast start, though that's easier said than done with Rodgers demanding so much trust," Howe said. 

He adds, "Veteran Michael Pittman Jr. gives DK Metcalf a much more reliable running mate to take a slight amount of pressure off the younger, more unproven duo."

So, look for Rodgers and Pittman to make magic this season. At least, that's the hope for the Terrible Towel crew.
