Northwestern gets massive recruiting win in 4-star wing Jeremiah Profit

“I decided to commit to Northwestern because it felt like the best fit for me on and off the court,” Profit told Rivals. “I really believe in what coach Collins and the coaching staff are building, and I felt like I could come in and make an impact. I believe in the plan they have for me and the direction the program is going. Northwestern also gives me the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the Big Ten while getting a great education. After taking my visit I knew it was where I was supposed to be, just felt like home.”

Northwestern gets massive basketball commitment from Jeremiah Profit 

Checking in at 6-foot-5, 180 pounds, 247Sports ranks Profit as the No. 15 small forward in the 2027 class. Rivals ranks him as the No. 14 shooting guard in the class.

Either way, he believes he brings a ton of the table for Northwestern.

“I’d describe myself as a big versatile guard who can impact the game in a lot of different ways," Profit said. "I would say I love getting out in transition and making plays for myself and my teammates. I’m comfortable having the ball in my hands, creating for myself and my teammates, and making plays in different situations. I’m a guy who can defend multiple positions and that’s something I pride myself on. I take a lot of pride in being competitive, playing with confidence, and doing whatever my team needs to win. That’s the most important thing to me: doing whatever it takes to win. “

He's the first 2027 commitment for Collins and the Wildcats, and he's a massive one.
