Caitlin Clark has been successful with her different off-court venues. The Indiana Fever superstar announced a career move outside the WNBA last May and sent a message about it on Tuesday.

Clark and the Fever qualified for the playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 28-16 record. They clinched the No. 6 seed and faced the No. 3-seeded Las Vegas Aces in the first round. The team pushed the series to a deciding Game 3 on Oct. 1 at Michelob ULTRA Arena but failed to dethrone the defending champions, losing 94-83.

The 2024 Rookie of the Year enjoyed another strong campaign. She broke several league records and earned her third straight All-Star nod. Team USA also included Clark in its FIBA Women’s World Cup roster. She helped the national team secure its fifth consecutive world championship.

Fever star Caitlin Clark promotes children’s book

Clark’s first-ever picture book, EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams, will be released on Nov. 3. She shared her Instagram post in May on her Instagram story and informed fans where they can preorder.

“Pre-order your copy from @randomhousekids at the link in their bio,” Clark wrote.

It is an uplifting debut rhyming picture book she wrote, with Adriana Predoi as the illustrator. The book encourages readers to put “extra” time and “extra” attention into cherishing moments with loved ones. Clark’s inspiration was reportedly the quote, “the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA,” which hung on top her mirror in her childhood bedroom.

Meanwhile, Clark vowed to be involved with roster construction this offseason. She will remain in constant communication with Fever general manager Amber Cox and the front office. The executives have big decisions to make on some of the team’s unrestricted free agents and who they plan to sign in free agency. Clark also said that she will put in more work to further improve different facets of her game.
