The NHL and Fanatics released the Hometown Remix uniforms on Monday, after many had already leaked on social media, the Macy’s website and even by a fan at a game. The rollout was poor, but some of the jerseys were pretty good.
The uniforms, which were announced in August, are the third special league-wide rollout for the NHL, following the Reverse Retro 2.0 set in 2022-23, and were designed to “uniquely and authentically celebrate the fans, city and local culture of each team,” according to the NHL.
Let's continue the countdown starting with No. 16.
First look at Tommer in the new threads.

The goat head logo with the classic colors works and is basically presenting an alternate reality if the team stuck with blue and yellow with the logo change in 1996. The embossed white stripes bring this down but the recolored goat head is worth visiting in the future for a permanent usage.

Representing the Liberty Bell, the dark gray works well here as a replacement for the black and the striping is in a nice pattern which looks good from afar, even if it’s meant for an embossed inscription that’s on the bell. Not seen in the photos, the back numbers have a crack in them, another nice nod.
The Hometown Remix jersey: designed to honour the history, community, and fabric of our great city

Celebrating our last year in the @cgysaddledome, the details pay homage the iconic building! More info: https://t.co/btJITt4Fb7 pic.twitter.com/slAq0k9vEZ
Paying tribute to the Saddledome in its final season, the Flames are one of the first teams to have the details actually come across well, thanks to it being on gold. The crest and hem textures represent the arena’s ceiling pattern and the sleeves represent the windows. Plus, it looks like a waffle and waffles are delicious.

A second attempt at a neon green jersey for the Stars, but it looks to be executed better on a white base. The crest logo is filled with lines to make it look like a lit-up sign which works tremendously and there’s just enough neon glow to not be overbearing.

The Kraken uses their Space Needle-anchor hybrid logo on the front for the first time, and it works well with the normal dark blue base. The bone color, which represents scrimshaw, is a nice accent color and is used much better than when the Los Angeles Rams tried. While they are long overdue for a light blue offering, this can definitely be used as a third jersey moving forward.

The Golden Knights finally dip into the gambling aspect of Las Vegas and don’t disappoint. A black base, would have rather seen the dark gray here, is met with green, representing the felt on a table, and a red and black checkerboard for a roulette table. It’s done in the right amount and isn’t nearly as tacky as it could have been.

— Carolina Hurricanes (@Canes) November 2, 2026
The Hurricanes released this collegiate-style pig logo last season and it already finds its way on the front of a jersey. While the rest of the jersey is basic, the colors and logo alone bring it into the top 10, and easily catapults to the top of a weak closet for the defending Stanley Cup champions.
The DNA of our team woven together with the fabric of our city to create something the 5th Line can wear proudly! pic.twitter.com/gAfx9EsHJG
— Columbus Blue Jackets (@BlueJacketsNHL) November 2, 2026
The logo the Blue Jackets should be using is finally on display here. The gray base might be too light opposing a white jersey, we’ll have to see, but it ties together the navy and blue stripes well. The Ohio-outlined captaincy patches are also a great touch. There would be few complaints if the Jackets based a future permanent set around this.
