Travis Kelce takes part of the blame for Chiefs' loss to Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, and it was a wild end to the game. Kansas City had a chance to put the game away, but the final minutes turned into a nightmare for the Chiefs. Harrison Butker couldn't connect on a late field goal, and the offense came up short on its final attempt to reach the end zone. Denver took advantage of those missed moments and completed a big, fourth-quarter rally to secure a 28-24 victory.

Star tight end Travis Kelce spoke with reporters after the matchup and addressed the frustrating end to the game.

Travis Kelce take responsibility for Kansas City Chiefs' frustrating loss

"In our hearts we feel like we should've came out with a victory, but at the same time, that's not the reality of things," Kelce said, per The Athletic. "Reality of things is we gotta fix a lot. The little things, mistakes. And it starts with the person that you're looking in the mirror."

Kelce also took part of the blame. He said that he was upset with himself and has also been critical of the "procedural stuff" that's been happening as of late.

"I'm one of them," Kelce said. "I've been frustrated with myself on how long I've been in the league and the procedural stuff that happened for the last three games, really."

Now, the Chiefs are 5-2 and no longer in first place in the AFC West. The Broncos are 6-2 and have taken over. There's still lots of football left to play, but Kelce is feeling the burn and sounds ready to take action.
