Jeffery Simmons made his debut for the Chicago Bears on "Monday Night Football" against the Seattle Seahawks. He finished his dominant outing with a team-high six combined tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss and one pass defended.
Simmons was also easily noticeable on the screen with his bright orange long-sleeve shirt.
Very nice of Jeffery Simmons to wear bright orange sleeves tonight so we can all keep track of the immediate impact he’s making https://t.co/lYLNA3kgoH

As Simmons explained during his first Bears press conference last week, just how difficult of a phone call it was with his family, and particularly having to leave his daughter to head to Chicago.
"Leaving my daughter yesterday; that was probably the hardest part yesterday," Simmons said on Oct. 30. "Hugging her before I headed to the airport was one of the hardest parts ... Three years old at the age they don't really understand what's about to happen, and from almost seeing her every day of the week to figuring out that schedule, it's been a lot of emotions these last couple days."
Simmons wore a bright red undershirt during his Tennessee Titans tenure so his 3-year-old daughter could see him better on the field, via Tyler Palmateer, who covers the Titans for the Tennessean.
Simmons said he wore the red long-sleeve undershirt so his daughter could pick him out on the field easier. Already got an orange sleeve picked out.
