Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly complains about Rams' bye-week situation

Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly is airing out her gripes this week.

Kelly Stafford took to social media on Tuesday to openly complain about the Los Angeles Rams’ bye-week situation. In a post to her Instagram Story, Kelly called out the NFL for leaving the Rams as the only team in the league without a “true bye week.”

“Just curious to hear the thought process behind making the Rams the only team in the NFL without a true bye week,” wrote Kelly. “Because damn, after 18 years around this league, even I need a week off during the season … and I have never played a single snap.

“I’m tired just watching from the stands,” Kelly added. “Can’t imagine how the guys feel.”

The Rams have their bye week scheduled for Week 11. But they play in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders on Nov. 15 and then in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 25 for a pre-Thanksgiving Day matchup.

Indeed, the 4-4 Rams are unique in having a scheduling quirk that results in just 10 days in between games despite having a bye week. Now we know that Kelly, who often expresses herself with Rams team matters, is not a fan of it.
