Flint Gray' Anniversary Drop

Nike SB reissued the P-Rod 1 back in May of 2025 to celebrate 20 years of the iconic shoe. It dropped in its classic White/Black colorway, and it was a huge hit, to say the least. Now, the Black/Varsity Red/Flint Gray colorway is set to hit shops on September 13 and the hype is as real as ever.

Our friends at Southside Skatepark got the shoes ahead of the drop date and took the time to break down all the nitty-gritty details for us, showing all the details that matter most up close. Take a look at the video below and dive in. Spoiler—everything looks great. Who's copping a pair?

"From the premium suede and nubuck upper to the bold varsity red swoosh accents, iconic visible Zoom Air cushioning, this retro release stays true to Paul Rodriguez’s second release of his first signature shoe," Southside mentions on YouTube. When the P-Rod 1 hit skateshop shoe shelves in 2005, it was a big moment not just for skateboarding footwear, but for Paul himself. It was his debut pro model shoe—the first Nike SB pro model ever—and helped further cement his place as one of the most influential skaters of, well, all time.

For anyone who skated these back in the day—or missed out the first time—this release is hitting all the right notes and is super limited. Keep September 13 circled on your calendar, because the Black/Varsity Red/Flint Gray P-Rod 1 is bound to go quick.
