A Detailed Look at the Nike SB Air Max 95 Black/Cacao Wow (Video)

I'll be honest—when Nike SB initially introduced the Air Max 95 to their skate lineup, it was not on my Bingo card. I get the hype and history, don't get me wrong. The OG Air Max is super iconic. Facts. But in my opinion, it just doesn't look like it skates that well. Am I the only one? Doubt it.

Regardless, there have been plenty of Nike SB Dunk Low drops that made me feel the same way, and it's really neither here nor there. People like 'em. People buy 'em. And all our favorite skateshops get that much more business because of it. Boom!

The Nike SB Air Max 95 Black/Cacao Wow is the latest colorway on the horizon, and will be available at select shops on January 17th. As always, David Bluetile got an early pair and broke down all the good and bad about these highly sought-after kicks. Dive in:

Take one look at the comments, and it's clear that my opinion pretty much means nothing. Ha! People are backing these shoes—lots of people—and hey, I'm all for it. Still, I can't help but wonder if anyone is truly lacing these things up and hitting their local park for a sesh non-ironically.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter I suppose. And what I'm getting from Bluetile is this is actually one of the best SB Air Max drops yet—from the colorway to the materials to the slight updates that were made.

And like most Dunk drops, these things have sold out almost instantly at every shop I personally know, so again, that's great news. Is your shop doing a raffle? Are they getting these? Roll down and get the scoop! January 17th is the day. Good luck out there.
