Chris Pfanner Talks Team Manager Life, Touring With His Mom and More in New Route One Skateshop Interview

Chris Pfanner has always been one of my favs. Longtime Vans rider, Antihero pro, one of the best Team Managers (I'm just assuming) in the game—the dude rips.

Route One Skateshop recently caught up with Chris out in Bristol to dish out some classic TM stories and duties, taking his mom on tour, Doobie's wild man antics and a whole lot more. Always a good time listening to Pfanner talk shop. Dive in:

Honestly, if you ask me, the skate world needs more people like Chris. He's genuine, always down to give back, but he also keeps his foot on the gas when it's time to rip. I’ve been a huge fan for years, and every time a new clip, part, or interview drops, it’s a solid reminder of how much this guy brings to the table.

Seeing him make that slow transition from strictly pro skating to his position as a TM has been super rad, too. Who better than Pfanner to take on that role? No debate.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I love these Route One interviews. Feels like you're just drinking a pint with your friend and playing a little catch up. It's rad.
