I’d be lying if I said myself, and I have to assume countless others, weren’t waiting for this one. New Balance Numeric has been teasing (and when I say “teasing,” I mean it) the upcoming Andrew Reynolds signature shoe the last few weeks on Instagram. We knew nothing besides the simple fact that they were coming soon.
Well, they hit us with another little tease yesterday, sharing a literal sliver of the soon-to-be-released Reynolds 933 in a fitting brown colorway (think classic Reynolds Emericas) and our excitement quickly grew. Take a look:
Reynolds is known for being pretty peculiar when it comes to, well, everything. He’s not just nodding his head in these design meetings and letting them take the ball and run—he’s deeply involved, as he should be.
Plus, Andrew has dropped some of the most iconic signature model shoes in the skateboarding world over the decades, which is why I have to imagine his first NB# signature model is going to be something to celebrate.
“They’re really good,” he commented on one of the recent tease posts. Three simple words they pack a serious punch, if you ask me. Hey, I’ll take his word for it. What else needs to be said?
The kicks are expected to drop in April and I have to imagine we’ll be getting a few more little hints of them here and there over the next couple of months. I hope so, at least. This is a big deal!
Our eyes will be glued to the New Balance Numeric IG account until April nonetheless . We’ll share more as we learn more, but I will say this—April can’t come soon enough.
It’s 2025 and the dude still puts the capital “B” in The Boss! Still inspiring, still ripping, still keeping the fire burning. Reynolds is as real as they come. Get stoked.
