Honestly, I think this had to be done. It just makes sense.
Paying tribute to Blind Skateboards’ classic Reaper graphic, Zero added their own personal touch and reimagined the design in the best way possible. It feels nostalgic but fresh—an instant classic that bridges a few golden eras of skateboarding. Get a closer look at the 'Lil Reaper' below.
"There’s a new ‘LIL REAPER’ in town," Zero wrote on Instagram. "Much love & respect to the creators & OG’s that made this image cool through the years." And here we are.
The different wood stains are a standout for me, and honestly, I want to skate one of these. Growing up, graphics like the Reaper were an absolute staple. Wet Willy and Flameboy were at the height of their glory. The Zero skull was already iconic. Spitfire's Bighead was a must-have... I feel like brands don't really have staple graphics like this anymore. Anyone else?
Whether it was a sticker, a Tech Deck or the real thing, Blind's Reaper graphic was such a staple in the early 2000s. For someone like me, a straight up kid who was slowly being consumed by it all, seeing the graphic really sends me back to a rad time in my life. Innocence. Stoke. Freedom. I know you all might not agree, but plenty should.
Okay, but here in 2025, what makes this graphic so rad is the balance—it isn't just a tacky rip-off, at least in my humble opinion. It's a celebration of a fun, timeless skateboard graphic. Zero just added their own DNA.
I love that Zero did this. Again, this had to be done. I might just cop a few for old time's sake.
