The 2026 Rockstar Energy Open Athlete Roster The 2026 competition roster will feature more than 50 skateboarders from around the globe, including 20 finalists from the signature Video Qualifier Series (VQS). The VQS provides rising stars and undiscovered skateboarders the opportunity to earn a coveted spot to compete alongside invited pros and legends. The Video Qualifier Series (VQS) officially kicked off on June 8, inviting skaters to submit entries via ThePlatfrm.com. Over the course of six weeks, men's and women's street and park winners were selected to compete live in Portland. Weekly cash prizes were awarded for Best Video Part (Men’s/Women’s), Best Trick and Viewer’s Choice. This year's VQS standouts include Nels Rosen, Soobeen Park, JD Sanchez, Jedd Mckenzie, Asahi Kaihara, and mentioned above, Kristion Jordan and Kylie Frank.
