We spent an incredible weekend down in Nicaragua for the 2025 Skate Central America contest that's now an official qualifier for Tampa Am. The scene down there, from Panama to Guatemala, is alive and thriving. There was so much stoke in all the skaters and fans that traveled far and wide to San Juan Del Sur for the action-packed weekend.

You've probably seen videos coming out of Costa Rica and Guatemala recently, as well as Jefferson "Yiyo" Obando joining the pro ranks for international brands. The skate scene is going to continue to get bigger and better down there and we guarantee you'll be seeing more names from those countries.

Congrats to the winners, good luck in Tampa, and we'll definitely be back in Nica next year! This weekend was a highlight of 2025 for sure! Staying at the luxurious Treecasa resort, going to world class beaches everyday and surfing—you gotta get down to Nica. Chico's been telling you for years! Thanks to Orion, Dev Dog, Treecasa and Lucas and Travis at the Surf Ranch!
