The band and the brand join forces on a collection of gear we didn't know we needed. Landing at shops August 15th!

Our friends at Slappy's Garage in San Diego got their hands on a few of the items and teased them on the Gram ahead of the release, and it's clear that people are stoked. Swipe through the post for a closer look below. It's pretty stacked. How's that ironing board shape!? So rad.

From what’s been teased so far, the collection features Talking Heads-inspired decks that double as tools for getting rad or wall-worthy hangers, along with some apparel items that are pretty timeless and universal. Basically just a dope band tee!

Welcome has always been about getting weird and random with their shapes, art, and of course, collabs like this. And they continue to deliver with boards and apparel that seem to always stand out from the pack. Walk into your local shop, and you’ll spot a Welcome board right away. 

That said, whether you’re into standard popsicle shapes or want to try something completely out there, they’ve truly got you covered. And honestly, it’s just always sick to see a brand that doesn’t play it safe. 

They're one of the best brands at keeping things interesting, if you ask me. It’s sort of been their vibe from the beginning. Often imitated (but never successfully), the graphics are wild, the decks have personality, and again, no matter what you skate, they always have a little something for everyone.
