Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort (in Arizona, but that was probably inferred) got dumped on, and now they can open their famous terrain.

Officials at Snowbowl announced in an Instagram post yesterday that "this storm surely delivered the goods and as of today, Upper Bowl is now open!"

The storm wasn't just a big one, it made for a proper snow day.

In Flagstaff, Arizona, the multi-day storm caused significant road closures, and while the news reporters didn't seem stoked about all the snow, skiers sure were!

Watch a news segment of Arizonans battling the snowfall while skiers watch the inches stack up in glee.

Arizona Snowbowl reported that the mountain saw 5 feet of snowfall in the last week, and "thanks to our hard-working Ski Patrol team, Upper Bowl is open for the first time this season!"

The Upper Bowl is a popular adventure for skiers in Arizona, and you can hike up for the extra elevation. Watch one skier's POV footage of the trek---and ski down--below.

Even better, "55/55 trails are now open" at the ski hill in Arizona. Officials at Snowbowl write that guests will "enjoy top-to-bottom runs, incredible conditions, and stunning views!"

"Upper Bowl terrain will be assessed daily & is subject to closure based on weather conditions."

Updates can be found on the AZSB Updates twitter page.
