Flying to Sun Valley, Idaho Just Got Easier

American Airlines has added flights to several other destination ski towns ahead of the coming winter. Flights to Aspen, CO from Charlotte, NC will also become available, which will connect Aspen (ASE) to more destinations than any other US airline.

Finally, American is adding a direct flight to Missoula, Montana (MSO) from Chicago, and will be the only nonstop flight to the Missoula area in the winter. 

“American is focused on giving our customers the most options to pick the perfect vacation destination, and now there are even more ways to turn travel dreams into reality” said Jason Reisinger, American’s Managing Director of Global Network Planning.

In total, American Airlines is offering more than 70 daily flights throughout the winter to top ski destinations like Aspen and Sun Valley, making it that much more convenient to get to the slopes. 

Currently, Delta also offers direct flights from Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, and Seattle to Sun Valley in the winter. United has year round flights from Denver, and winter flights to Sun Valley from Los Angeles, San Fransisco, and Chicago. Alaska airlines also offers a year round-direct to Sun Valley from Seattle.
