Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, New York decided that "last Saturday would be the final day of the season" for skiing. While the resort operates year-round, their lifts have an expiration date each year like every other mountain.
They announced this in an X post/tweet yesterday on April 2nd. See below.

The Snowmaking Team and Mountain Crew worked extremely hard to allow us to get 115 days of skiing and riding in this season!

That being said, Holiday Valley has had a solid ski season, with 115 days total.
Resort officials thanked their Snowmaking Team and Mountain Crew, saying both "worked extremely hard! Thank you for helping us have an action packed and memorable winter."
The events at Holiday Valley are not over yet just because the lifts are no longer spinning.
Next weekend, the Totality Bash welcomes the solar eclipse with an educational talk, live music, beer tasting, and chairlift rides that weekend (April 7th and 8th).
Holiday Valley is also sponsoring the BANFF Mountain Film Festival on April 19th and 20th at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts in Jamestown, NY.
Summer at Holiday Valley means golfing, road biking, mountain biking, and swimming in the pool.
Plus, all you New Yorkers must be stoked on the weather, right?
