At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Eileen Gu cemented her status as the most decorated freestyle skier of all time. She won three Olympic medals, bringing her career tally at the Games to six.
China's freeski star grabbed silver at the slopestyle and Big Air competitions. On the final day of the competition, Gu finally won another gold as she defended her halfpipe title. The 22-year-old now has three gold medals and three silver medals in her Olympic career.
Following the Winter Olympics, Gu has kept herself busy. She stayed in Italy following the event to take part in Milan Fashion Week. When she went to the U.S., she made an appearance at San Francisco’s Chinese New Year Parade.
Gu didn't stop competing, though. She joined the first season of Shaun White's Snow League in late March and captured the championship.
After an eventful last two months, it seems Gu now has time for some rest and recreation. On Saturday, she shared a post on Instagram showing herself on vacation. She posted several photos of herself in a swimsuit, enjoying a pool, reading a book, riding a bike and getting a fire massage.
"defrosting," Gu wrote in the caption of her post.
Fans were quick to comment on her post, with many taking notice of her appearance.
"Heavenly," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "Stunning."
"Got it and she know it," a fan added.
Another supporter shared, "Head-to-toe perfection."
"Body teaaa," a fifth fan stated. Several others commented with heart emojis, highlighting how much they loved her update.
It remains to be seen what's next for Gu, but for now, she's making the most of her time away from the ice.
