In January 2025, Hiroto Ogiwara competed in his first X Games. He won a gold medal in Big Air after putting down a 2340, a first in any snowboard competition anywhere. It was a trick that he had in the bag, but said that he'd been waiting to pull it out in Aspen.
Ogiwara will be back in Aspen a year later. The 20-year-old from Japan headlines a list of some of the best riders in the world who have committed to the contest. Here's who else will compete in SuperPipe:
Just weeks ago, Kokomo Murase made some noise on the internet when she landed the first ever backside triple cork 1620 during a training run. She'll headlines a star-studded lineup of women competing in both Big Air and Slopestyle.
The other contestants competing in Slopestyle are:
And of course, Knuckle Huck is back, and Zeb Powell is leading the charge. He'll be joined by last year's champion, Wang Ziyang.
