Eight U.S. snowboarders will try to take home a medal in the Paralympic Banked Slalom race this week. They’ll have to rearrange their schedule to do so.

The final snowboard event of the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, has been moved from Saturday to Friday due to the weather.

The event consists of two runs. Riders’ best run will count toward the final standings. Run one will now start at 4 a.m. Eastern Time. Run two will begin at 6 a.m.

The event will be streamed live on Peacock. The contest will be rebroadcast Saturday, March 14, 2026 on CNBC at 5:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The following athletes will compete for the U.S.

  • Kate Delson
  • Jackie Hamwey
  • Brenna Huckaby
  • Noah Elliott
  • Mike Schultz
  • Keith Gabel
  • Zach Miller
  • Joe Pleban

Delson and Elliott will try to win their second medal of these Games, as they both won silver medals in snowboard cross. Huckaby will look to become the most decorated para snowboarder in the sport’s history, and Schultz will try to end his final Games atop the podium.

Meanwhile, China’s Wu Zhongwei—who had an incredible come-from-behind victory to overtake Elliott for the gold—will look to sweep the para snowboarding podium in these games.
