Credible journalist expects Tottenham deadline day signing Randal Kolo Muani to adapt to the Premier League demands quickly

Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer business was officially concluded on September 1 following one of the most dramatic and memorable summer windows.

Despite their failure to bring in a left-winger and centre-back for head coach Thomas Frank, the Hotspur Way chiefs did well to strengthen Spurs’ first XI with four acquisitions. Their final signing came in the form of Randal Kolo Muani.

Tottenham announced Randal Kolo Muani will be joining on a straight loan from Paris Saint-Germain after signing him on deadline day. This comes after Dominic Solanke suffered an ankle injury and will be sidelined for an extended period. The Lilywhites wanted to sign a left-winger, but Solanke’s injury apparently forced them to go for a striker and Kolo Muani ended up being the final summer addition.

Journo expects Kolo Muani to quickly adapt to Premier League’s physicality

Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan with Juventus. He did well during a temporary spell in Serie A, netting eight goals in 16 appearances. The centre-forward was keen to re-join Juventus this summer, but as talks broke down, Spurs swooped in and signed him on the final hours of the window.

Respected journalist Alasdair Gold has now given his verdict on Kolo Muani’s signing. He has raved about the France international’s attributes like pace, ability on the ball and physicality and expects him to adapt quickly to the demands of Premier League football.

“He’s [Kolo Muani] got a lot of experience. He’s got a really good physical attributes, pace, ability on the ball, scores goals. Yeah, he could probably get higher numbers of goals. I think he had the one terrific season at Frankfurt, was it?” Alasdair Gold said on his YouTube channel.

“When everyone’s raving about him and he could definitely improve his goal tally. Um, but I think physically he should fit into the Premier League and certainly he’s proven that he can go to different countries and adapt quite quickly which is another massive thing.”

Kolo Muani will add value to Frank’s squad

With a gruelling season ahead and the Lilywhites competing in all four competitions, Frank will be hoping Kolo Muani hits the ground running in the Premier League.

Richarlison appears to be a player reborn under Frank, leading Spurs’ attack in four games player thus far. But as we all know, the Brazilian’s fitness can be relied upon for long and Frank must manage his minutes well. This is where a player like Kolo Muani would become valuable for Frank, as he can not only lead the attack but also operate out wide. The ex-Frankfurt star would also improve the north Londoners’ potency in attack, whilst adding experience at the highest level.

All in all, with Richarlison having a patchy injury record and Solanke set to be sidelined for an extended period with an ankle injury, Kolo Muani has the potential to become an definite starter for Frank’s Tottenham.
