Alejandro Garnacho unveils new look ahead of 2026/27 season
USA TODAY Sports via Reuters Connect

Alejandro Garnacho remains in the centre of the spotlight, even if the winger does not play for Manchester United anymore.

The Argentine, who left Old Trafford to join fellow Premier League side Chelsea last summer, came through the United academy and made 114 appearances at senior level, scoring 24 goals.

His time at the club is now in the past as the winger aims to reward Chelsea for the seven-year contract that he was handed during last summer’s transfer window.

In his first season at the Blues, the 21-year-old made 43 appearances, scoring eight times whilst providing four assists.

His success in the Premier League was not so positive, however, with just one goal coming in his 24 appearances for the club last campaign in the league.

Garnacho’s range of differing looks have often surprised supporters across the Premier League, and the footballing world, and it now appears that the winger has unveiled his latest look.

Posting on TikTok, it appears that Alejandro Garnacho has moved away from his previous hair style and has now adopted a series of black dreads which hang across his head in the video.

For the 21-year-old this move could represent the latest step in trying to standout in the football world although may also be a personal favourite hairstyle that he has wanted to try out.

It is likely that, with the look just revealed, Garnacho could make appearances in the Premier League with the new look (which would likely be seen by millions).

Some supporters have criticized his new haircut, saying that he has fallen away since leaving Manchester United. For Alejandro Garnacho, however, this step may be deliberate and not accidental.

Fans, and commentators across the sport, will likely continue to make their belief clear on his latest look although the move reflects a growing trend towards abstract and unique looks for footballers in their hair.
