Alex Morgan continues to be an important figure in the world of soccer. On Thursday she will receive a tribute before the USWNT match against Portugal.

A little over a month ago the NWSL side San Diego Wave honored Morgan by retiring the number 13 after she retired last year.

"Oh, we have been through it. The ebbs and flows, the highs and lows. There's something about sports. It brings people together. The passion, just coming to a game, having that optimism, but dealing with the lows together, too. We did it all," Morgan said at that time.

"And I just applaud you showing up every single day. That's why I showed up every single day," she added.

After a little more than a year since she retired from soccer, it is reported that Alex Morgan has an estimated net worth of $4 million in 2025.

Her earnings come mainly from the career she had as a professional soccer player, both in the US women's national team and in teams like Portland Thorns, Orlando Pride, Olympique Lyonnais, or San Diego Wave FC.

Outside of her sports career, Morgan co-founded the brand Togethxr and the wellness company Just Live. She also has investments in businesses like Soccer Post, which is a soccer gear retailer, TMRW Sports, which is a golf tech firm, in a recruiting platform called Teamble, in a company focused on eating disorder treatment called Equip, or even in the San Diego Wave, her former soccer team.
