Algeria vs DR Congo Lineups, Preview

One of the best round of 16 matches in the 2025 AFCON is between Algeria and DR Congo. Both teams are unbeaten after three group stage matches.

Algeria is one of two teams in the whole tournament to win all three group stage matches. Algeria topped Group E with nine points, scoring seven goals and only conceding one goal.

Algeria defeated Sudan, Burkina Faso, and Equatorial Guinea. Their previous match was a 3-1 win over Equatorial Guinea with a secondary team, with Zineddine Belaid, Fares Chaibi, and Ibrahim Maza as the goal scorers.

DR Congo finished second in Group D with seven points, scoring five goals and only conceding one gola after three group stage matches.

DR Congo defeated Benin 1-0, drew 1-1 with Senegal, and defeated Botswana 3-0. Their previous match was the 3-0 win over Botswana, with Nathanael Mbuku scoring one goal and Gael Kakuta scoring two goals.

Where to Watch Algeria vs DR Congo

Algeria vs DR Congo will kick off at 11 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 5 p.m. local time in Rabat, Morocco.
