Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri says Christian Pulisic will likely be unavailable in the next Serie A match against Lazio.
Milan could be forced to cope without their best scorer, Pulisic, in a Serie A match against Lazio on Saturday.
Allegri held a press conference two days before the game, hinting that the American winger will probably miss the upcoming league game.
“Pulisic will hardly be available for the match, but anything can happen tomorrow and the day after,” said the Milan coach via Milan News.
“Saelemaekers is fine, Gimenez should start gradually rejoining the team next week, and everyone else is in good condition.”
Pulisic recently recovered from a hamstring injury he had suffered while on international duty with the USMNT in October.
The former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund star made a substitute appearance against Parma before the break and started against Inter this past Sunday, scoring the winning goal for the Rossoneri in the second half.
Milan sit second in the Serie A table, level on 25 points with Napoli and just two points below leaders Roma.
Pulisic has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 10 appearances across all competitions this season.
