Former Arsenal and Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Özil has announced that he is retiring for professional football. At only 34 years of age, this guy was one of the best midfielders to play the game in his prime, the passing and vision he had was something else.

Good luck to him in his retirement. What a player he was for whoever he played for and was probably unfairly treated at one stage when he was with Arsenal.

Will Arsenal win the league this year? It’s gong to go right down to the wire and their next few games will decide it. If they get past them they have it, surely? Hopefully, they all come back injury-free after the International break.
